FRED R. SIMON has been practicing law since 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a member of the Louisville, Kentucky, and American Bar Associations and handles cases in all Kentucky federal and state courts.

While maintaining his solo law practice, Mr. Simon is an associate attorney with the Louisville offices of O'Koon Hintermeister, PLLC, where he is focusing on probate law and administration, estate planning, business organization, and civil litigation, and bankruptcy. Mr. Simon has taught business law at the University of Louisville, conducted classes in Wills, Trusts, and Estates with the Adult Education Program of the Jefferson County Public School System, has previously lectured to legal professionals, to paralegal organizations, and to those sharing his passion, professional firefighters. For 20 years, he was a volunteer firefighter with the Harrods Creek Fire District, having attained the rank of lieutenant, and is past Chairman of that department's Board of Trustees as well as past Chairman of the Jefferson County (Kentucky) Suburban Fire Service. Mr. Simon served two terms as Mayor for the City of Glenview Hills, Kentucky. Mr. Simon earned his B.A. degree from Bradley University and his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis.
